Gihan Chathuranga Director Engineering BSc. Eng (Hons), PG. DIP (Struct. Eng.Design), C. Eng, MIE (SL), MSSE (SL) Member- Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka-2012 Accredited to design buildings of any number of floors by IESL Member- Society of Structural Engineers, Sri Lanka- 2013 Gihan Chathuranga obtained his first degree from University of Moratuwa specialized in Civil Engineering in 2008, and carries a current experience of over 12 years in the field of Civil Engineering in Sri Lanka. He obtained his post graduate diploma in Structural Engineering Design on 2011 from University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka. He has obtained a foreign training for the Post Tension structure design under EDGE Consultants He is a founder member of EDIFICE Consultants in 2007 with the partnership of Chaaminda. He is a Structural engineer for remarkable projects such as Destiny Tower mixed Development project, Sea breeze apartments Wadduwa, Double tree by HILTON at Weerawila, Underground structures for A380 airbus loads and INTZ type water tank at BIA Extension Project, Marina Square Colombo (local consultant) and Osaka Heights apartments Nugegoda. He holds the working experience in leading government and private organizations prior to joining EDIFICE as a Structural Engineer, Director.
